The Central Valley Middle School Community Service Club and Student Council co- sponsored a Winter Carnival Lock-In on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 3-6 pm in the Middle School gym. Using money from a BCET grant, students created carnival games from purchased materials such as plywood, paint, nails, boards, etc. Some images of the games (such as Plinko, Ping-Pong Toss, Balloon Darts, etc.) with student workers are shown below.

Students worked during and after school to create the carnival games. Attendees were able to play the games, and, if successful, receive a prize for their efforts. Concessions were sold, and music was played throughout the Lock-In.
All proceeds from the Lock-In went directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A total of
$1,720 was donated to Make-A-Wish.
