Kids Learn to Cook (ages 7 to 10) This camp, directed by Penn State Beaver chefs, will provide hands-on cooking lessons for children in a deliciously fun and educational way. Campers will have the opportunity to explore the campus Bistro and the industrial cooking equipment and supplies used there to prepare meals for our students. The campers will learn how much fun cooking can be and will enjoy eating the foods they have prepared. The last day will feature foods that the campers have made from a mystery basket. Family members are welcome to attend at the end of the last day. The film series Star Wars® has inspired generations of scientists, engineers, and devotees of every age. Campers will study the history of the light saber, the way of the Force, and participate in a Jedi-inspired Training Course including light saber safety.  Basic combat will be taught for safe saber sparring.  Campers will participate in games and competitions.
