The BCET is proud to have retained U.S. Department of Education Assistant Secretary, Scott Stump, as the keynote speaker. In addition, educators in Beaver County will be honored along with many others who are working hard to improve education in the area. The BCET received a generous $5000 EITC donation from Huntington Bank in 2018. Earned Income Tax Credit donations come straight out of PA corporate income taxes allowing corporations located in PA to funnel their tax dollars directly to EIO's across the state. LLS Comes Through in Year Two

Lincoln Learning Solutions made a three year commitment to help fund the Growing with Books program run by the BCET. Now in the second year of pledge, LLS has not disappointed and provided another $15,000 in funds. Twice a year the BCET sends age appropriate books to children in Beaver County to encourage new parents to read to their children, a.k.a. the Growing with Books program. The cost of the program is in the tens of thousands and the commitment by LLS has meant the BCET is secure in the knowledge that the beloved program will continue uninterrupted.
