The AES STEAM-Walk drew 32 students from grades 4, 5, & 6 for a fun-filled morning of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics on May 11, 2018. Each student received an AES STEAM Walk cinch sacks to carry their many gifts and projects they created throughout the day. Stations included projects from creating polymers to wiring up circuit boards to spacewalking and even included a station on “powering up” with proper nutrition.
Thanks to a grant from the Beaver County Educational Trust and help from Covestro, Carnegie Science Center and the Education Partnership the teachers of AES put on an excellent program enjoyed by all.
