Hopewell – Exploration Station @ the Library

GreatIdeasGrant, Home
Mini-grant funds were used to create a student exploration station and resource center in the Hopewell High School library. Students now have centralized access to supplemental learning materials from the following categories: technology, learning games, and the arts. Students visit the Exploration Station during their study halls and lunch periods. While the materials are housed in portable storage containers that can be checked out for in-classroom use, most use occurs in-library by independent learners. Of the items purchased, students use the Sphero robots and Snap Circuits most often. Students who had never previously visited the library for its traditional resources are now frequent Exploration Station patrons.
